How is this different than other bath soak products?
This is a first of its kind foaming hydration bath soak crafted with Beta Glucan.
We break away from the typical 'salt + fragrance' bath soak formula and avoid ingredients that could potentially disrupt the health and pH of your skin and delicate areas.
We don't use essential oils, because they can very easily overwhelm, sensitize and irritate the skin.
Instead, our lightly scented products are made with skin-friendly concentrations of CO2 extracts.
Our innovative, clean-rinsing formulation is gentle and specifically tailored for adults with sensitive or compromised skin.
It's designed to help gently cleanse, soothe, immediately hydrate and moisturize, while still providing a luxe and sensorial experience.
What are CO2 extracts & how are they different from essential oils?
CO2 extracts are known for having a wider range of beneficial, bioactive plant components like essential fatty acids, antioxidants, nutrients and anti-inflammatory properties (in addition to aromatics). This translates to more skin-loving benefits and potentially less risk of irritation compared to essential oils, which are a high concentration of only the aromatic plant components.
In addition to preserving fragile skin-benefiting compounds, CO2 extraction also ensures that no residues or traces of the solvent are left in the final product, contributing to a higher-quality extract.
What skin type is this good for?
This soak is safe and beneficial for all skin types, but especially effective for addressing the needs of sensitive and compromised skin.
What is the texture like?
Due to the generous amounts of moisturizing oils, mango seed butter and other richly moisturizing ingredients we use, the texture is like a dense powder (when in its dry form).
Adding the dry bath soak powder to warm running bath water creates a frothy, effervescent texture that dissolves easily and gradually transitions into delicate ribbons of creamy, moisturizing, gently cleansing foam.
It imparts a silky-smooth feel to your skin and the bath water.
Will this clog my pores?
Absolutely not. Partake's Luxury Skincare Bath Treatment is formulated with non-comedogenic ingredients, meaning it won't clog pores. It's intentionally designed with ingredients that can help promote a clearer looking complexion!
Where does the blue color come from?
The blue hue in our skincare bath treatment comes from fresh water blue spirulina.
In addition to providing a beautiful blue tint, it contains an abundance of replenishing nutrients, protective antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that help contribute to the overall skincare benefits of the soak.
Will this bath treatment stain my tub?
Absolutely not! Our naturally pigmented bath treatment is designed to dissolve easily in water and rinse clean, without residue. When used as directed, it should not cause staining.
How often should can use this bath treatment?
We recommend using it at least once a week to help keep your skin feeling hydrated, soft and comfortable. It's also safe for daily use.
Do I have to rinse off after using this bath treatment?
We recommend rinsing your skin clean with warm water after any bath, but it's not required. Ultimately, it's about personal preference and what feels most comfortable or enjoyable for you.
