What Is a Skincare Bath Soak? Meet The Skincare Soak™

What Is a Skincare Bath Soak? Meet The Skincare Soak™

Your bath water, reimagined as skincare.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, you probably spend a lot of time thinking about what goes on your skin.

What body wash do you use?
Which lotion actually helps?
Can you use fragrance?
Why does your skin feel tight after a shower?
Which ingredients should you avoid?

But there's one part of your routine that most skincare advice doesn't talk about:

What's in your bath water?

That's where The Skincare Soak™ comes in.

We created it for people who love taking a bath but don't want to choose between a bath that feels good and skin that feels good afterward.

Because your skin is literally sitting in the water.

We think what's in that water matters.

So, what is a skincare soak?

A skincare soak is a bath soak made with the skin experience in mind.

Not just the scent.

Not just the bubbles.

Not just what the bath looks like.

The goal is simple: create bath water that leaves your skin feeling soft, moisturized, smooth, and comfortable while still giving you the bath experience you actually want.

That's the idea behind Soakable Skincare™ - our way of thinking about skincare that starts in the bath.

And The Skincare Soak™ is the product we created to do it.

What is The Skincare Soak?

The Skincare Soak™ is a 4-in-1 bath treatment for dry and sensitive skin that turns your bath water into more than just fragrance-based relaxation.

One pouch gives provides multiple benefits:

1. A Foaming Bath

The formula creates a soft, silky foam that makes your bath feel like a proper soak.

Instead of the more commonly used foaming agents, we formulated The Skincare Soak with Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) - a gentle, coconut-derived surfactant that creates a rich, creamy lather without drying sulfates.

We wanted the bath to feel good in the moment and leave your skin feeling good afterward.

2. A Hydrating Serum

The formula brings skincare ingredients like oat beta-glucan and panthenol into the bath, where your skin can take advantage of the longer exposure time.

Oat beta-glucan is commonly used in skincare for its moisturizing and skin-conditioning properties, while panthenol (provitamin B5) is used as a humectant and conditioning ingredient.

Think of this part as the deep hydration step of your bath.

3. A Moisturizing Bath Oil

Meadowfoam seed oil, camellia seed oil, and mango butter add emollient ingredients to the water to help leave skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized.

So while you're soaking, you're not just sitting in scented water.

You're soaking in a formula designed to nourish and condition your skin, too.

4. A Refining Body Mask

White kaolin clay gives the formula another layer of body care.

Kaolin is a mineral clay commonly used in skincare and cleansing products. In The Skincare Soak, it adds a gentle refining and cleansing component to the bath.

So yes, you can think of it as a body mask - but without having to stand in your bathroom covered in clay.

One pouch. Four ways to care for your skin. One bath.

That's what makes The Skincare Soak different.

It's not a bath bomb with skincare ingredients added to the formula.

It's a body treatment you don't have to apply separately.

The bath is the treatment.

Each pouch contains a curated blend of ingredients chosen for the way they feel and perform on skin, including:

  • Oat beta-glucan
  • Panthenol (provitamin B5)
  • Mango butter
  • Meadowfoam seed oil
  • Camellia seed oil
  • White kaolin clay
  • Coconut-derived cleanser
  • Blue spirulina
  • Jasmine and vanilla CO₂ extracts in the scented version

The Fragrance Free version leaves out the jasmine and vanilla extracts.

Add one pouch to your bath and you get foam, oils, butters, and conditioning ingredients in the same bath.

The result is skin that feels touchably soft, smooth, moisturized, and comfortable.

What makes it different from a regular bath soak?

Here's the question we kept coming back to:

Why are so many bath products focused on making the bath feel good in the moment, but not necessarily on how your skin feels afterward?

Bath salts have their place.

Bubble bath has its place.

Bath bombs have their place.

But we wanted to make something for the person who thinks:

I want to take a bath, but I also want my skin to feel really good when I get out.

That's the job of The Skincare Soak.

It's not a bath product with a little skincare sprinkled in.

We started with the skin.

Then we built the bath experience around it.

What The Skincare Soak is—and isn't

Let's make this easy.

It IS:

A gentle, foaming bath soak for dry and sensitive skin.

A way to add moisturizing and conditioning ingredients to your bath.

A single-use pouch, so you don't have to guess how much to use.

Available in Jasmine + Vanilla and Fragrance Free.

Made without sulfates, synthetic fragrance, essential oils, added dyes, PEGs, or phenoxyethanol.

A bath product made with the same ingredient-conscious mindset you bring to the rest of your skincare.

It ISN'T:

A bath bomb.

It isn't built around fizz, color, or making the water look a certain way.

An Epsom salt soak.

There are no Epsom salts or magnesium flakes.

A heavily fragranced bubble bath.

The Jasmine + Vanilla version is scented with jasmine and vanilla CO₂ extracts. The Fragrance Free version contains neither.

A treatment for a skin condition.

The Skincare Soak is designed to be gentle on sensitive skin, but it isn't intended to treat eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or other medical conditions.

Who is The Skincare Soak for?

We made it for a pretty specific person.

Maybe that's you.

You have dry skin.

You know what it feels like when your skin comes out of the bath feeling tighter than when you got in.

You want your bath to leave your skin feeling soft—not stripped.

You have sensitive skin.

You don't automatically put anything in your bath just because the packaging says "relax."

You read labels.

You pay attention to fragrance.

And you know that what works beautifully for someone else can leave your skin unhappy.

You love skincare.

You probably spend more time reading ingredient lists than you'd like to admit.

You know your serums.

You have opinions about body lotion.

And you've wondered why your bath products aren't held to the same standard.

You love a good bath.

But you're not looking for another product that just smells nice.

You want the whole thing:

Good water. Good ingredients. Good skin afterward.

You want luxury, but your skin comes first.

You shouldn't have to choose between a product that looks and feels special and one that makes sense for your skin.

That's exactly the gap we wanted to fill.

Why did we make it?

Because we couldn't stop thinking about one thing:

Your skin is in the bath with you.

Yet when most people shop for bath products, they are usually choosing based on things like scent, bubbles, salts, fizz, or how relaxing the product sounds.

Those things aren't bad.

They just aren't the whole story.

We wanted to make something where the question wasn't only:

"Will I enjoy this bath?"

It was:

"How will my skin feel when I get out?"

That question became The Skincare Soak.

What's actually in The Skincare Soak?

We don't expect you to take our word for it.

Here are some of the ingredients you'll find in the formula and why they're there.

Oat beta-glucan

Oat beta-glucan is a polysaccharide derived from oats that is commonly used in skincare formulations for its moisturizing and skin-conditioning properties.

We use it because dry skin needs more than a nice-smelling bath.

Panthenol

Also known as provitamin B5, panthenol is widely used in skincare and haircare products as a humectant and conditioning ingredient.

In the Soak, it's part of the formula designed to leave skin feeling soft and comfortable.

Mango butter

A plant-derived butter that adds richness to the formula and helps give skin a moisturized, conditioned feel.

Meadowfoam seed oil

A lightweight botanical oil known for its emollient properties.

It helps give the bath a softer, more moisturizing feel.

Camellia seed oil

Another botanical oil used for its emollient and conditioning properties.

White kaolin clay

A fine mineral clay commonly used in skincare and cleansing products.

We use it as part of the Soak's body-care experience.

Panthenol + botanical oils + mango butter + oat beta-glucan

This combination is a big part of why we think differently about the bath.

You're not just sitting in scented water.

You're soaking in a formula made with ingredients commonly used in skincare for their moisturizing and conditioning properties.

Is The Skincare Soak good for sensitive skin?

We created The Skincare Soak with sensitive skin in mind.

That influenced the ingredients we chose, and the ingredients we left out.

You'll find no:

  • Sulfates
  • Synthetic fragrance
  • Essential oils
  • Added dyes
  • PEGs
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • Epsom salts or salts in general

And if fragrance isn't for you, there's a Fragrance Free version.

But we don't believe in telling someone with sensitive skin, "Don't worry, this will never bother you."

Sensitive skin isn't one-size-fits-all.

An ingredient can be perfectly comfortable for one person and not work for another.

So read the ingredient list, know your skin, and if you have a diagnosed skin condition or significant sensitivity, talk with your dermatologist or healthcare provider.

Is The Skincare Soak moisturizing?

That's one of the most important questions.

The formula contains ingredients including oat beta-glucan, panthenol, mango butter, meadowfoam seed oil, and camellia seed oil that are used in skincare formulations for their moisturizing and conditioning properties.

The goal is for skin to feel:

Soft.

Smooth.

Moisturized.

Comfortable.

Not tight and stripped.

And because everyone's skin and bathing habits are different, your experience can vary.

Water temperature matters.
So does how long you stay in the tub.
So does your existing skin condition.

A bath that's too hot and too long isn't the best for skin health, regardless of what's in the water.

Does it have fragrance?

There are two options.

Jasmine + Vanilla

This version uses jasmine and vanilla CO₂ extracts for a soft scent that's gentle on skin.

Fragrance Free

No jasmine. No vanilla.

Just the base formula.

If you know natural fragrance doesn't work well for your skin, start with Fragrance Free.

If fragrance is part of what makes a bath enjoyable for you, Jasmine + Vanilla gives you that option.

Is it a bath bomb?

No.

And that's intentional.

Bath bombs are generally designed around a very different experience: fizz, fragrance, color, and the fun of watching something dissolve in the water.

The Skincare Soak is about what happens to your skin while you're soaking.

It foams, but the foam isn't the point.

The scent is there in one version, but the scent isn't the point.

The bath is the setting.

Your skin is the focus.

Is it an Epsom salt bath?

No.

The Skincare Soak doesn't contain Epsom salt or magnesium flakes.

That means if you're specifically looking for an Epsom salt bath, this isn't that product.

If you're looking for a bath soak made around softness, moisturization, and skin conditioning, that's where The Skincare Soak comes in.

What Is a Skincare Soak? Meet The Skincare Soak™

And yes, we thought about down there.

Because when you're taking a bath, everything is in the water.

And if you've ever used a bath product that left you feeling irritated, uncomfortable, or just…off afterward, you know exactly why that matters.

We didn't want to make a bath soak that only considered the skin on your arms and legs.

The Skincare Soak was formulated with sensitive skin (and the fact that you're soaking your entire body) in mind.

That means we skipped things like sulfates, synthetic fragrance, essential oils, and added dyes, because these types of bath ingredients are known to cause vaginal irritation.

And if you're someone who pays attention to your intimate area's natural balance, we get it. You don't want your bath product becoming a problem you have to deal with later.

Because the last thing you need after a relaxing bath is to think:

“Well…that was a mistake.”

How do you use it?

One pouch.

One bath.

That's it.

Run your bath with comfortably warm water.

Add one pouch of The Skincare Soak.

Swirl the water to distribute the formula.

Then get in.

Relax and soak in the benefits.

When you get out, gently pat your skin dry rather than aggressively rubbing it with your towel.

Why "skincare for your bath"?

Because we think we've been separating these two things unnecessarily.

We have:

Face skincare.

Body care.

Bath products.

But there's an obvious overlap.

Your skin is in the bath.

So why shouldn't the bath be part of your skincare routine?

The water your skin soaks in can be formulated with your skin in mind.

That's it.

And honestly, we think that's been overlooked for a long time.

Your bath doesn't have to be "just a bath."

Maybe you take baths because you need 30 minutes where nobody needs anything from you.

Maybe you take one because your skin is dry and you want to sit in warm water.

Maybe Sunday night is your bath night.

Maybe you lock the bathroom door and disappear for an hour.

Whatever your reason, we're not here to tell you that your bath needs another complicated step.

We're here to change what's in the water.

Because if you're already going to take the bath...

Why not make the water work a little harder for your skin?

That's The Skincare Soak™.

Your bath water, reimagined as skincare.
